Billing questions
What happens if I go over my monthly request quota?
Requests over your plan's monthly cap get a clear 429 response telling you to upgrade or wait until next month — not a blank page or a silent failure. The quota resets on the calendar-month boundary.
Is the per-minute rate limit the same as the monthly quota?
No — they're independent. The rate limit is short-burst protection (60–5,000 requests/min depending on plan); the monthly quota is your total usage for the month. You can be well under your monthly quota and still get throttled if you fire too many requests in one minute.
Does refreshing my sheet count against my monthly quota?
No. Manually refreshing a sheet's cached data is separate from serving API/MCP reads, so it doesn't consume your monthly request quota.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes — upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from Settings → Billing. No contracts, no sales calls.
Do you store my sheet's row data permanently?
No. Row data is fetched from Google and cached temporarily to serve your endpoints quickly — it isn't kept as a permanent record in our database. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
Does the Free plan include MCP?
Yes. Any public endpoint on the Free plan works as a per-sheet MCP server you can connect to Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT. The account-wide workspace MCP server — one URL that exposes all your sheets — needs a paid plan.
Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes — 3 endpoints and 2,000 requests a month, no expiry, no credit card, and no Google Cloud project to set up. It's a real free tier meant to run a small site or agent, not a trial that fails silently the moment you hit a hidden cap.
