Terms of Service
Effective date: August 13, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PasteSheet ("PasteSheet", "we", "us", or "our") and the services we provide (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
PasteSheet lets you connect a publicly shared Google Sheet and turns it into a versioned, cached REST API endpoint, and optionally an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server endpoint that AI tools such as Claude Desktop or Cursor can query. Available features, request quotas, and limits depend on your subscription plan.
3. Account Registration & Eligibility
You may register using an email address and password, or by signing in with a Google account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You must verify your email address before accessing most features of the Service. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Connect a Google Sheet you do not have the right to make publicly accessible or to expose via an API.
- Publish or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that violates the rights of any third party.
- Attempt to circumvent your plan's request quotas, rate limits, or row caps, including by automating excessive requests.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account, endpoints, or API keys.
5. Google Sheets Content & Ownership
You retain all rights and ownership over the content of any Google Sheet you connect to PasteSheet. By connecting a sheet, you represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights to share that content and to have it served through a public or private API endpoint as configured. If you set an endpoint to public, the data from your sheet will be accessible to anyone with the endpoint URL. PasteSheet accesses your sheets in one of two ways: sheets you have made publicly accessible via an "anyone with the link" share setting, which we read through Google's public export; or restricted sheets you explicitly connect through your Google account and select in Google's file picker. Google's "drive.file" scope limits the connection to files used with this app, and PasteSheet uses that connection only to read the selected sheet; the app exposes no write path. We never request access to your full Google Drive, and you can revoke a connection at any time from your dashboard or your Google account settings. Our handling of data received from Google APIs is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. AI Processing
When you connect a new sheet, PasteSheet uses Anthropic's Claude AI to automatically suggest column types and aliases, which requires sending a sample of your sheet's data (the header row and up to 10 rows) to Anthropic. See our Privacy Policy for details. Do not connect a sheet containing data you are not willing to have processed by this third-party AI provider.
7. Subscription & Billing
PasteSheet offers Free, Starter, Pro, and Agency plans, each with different endpoint, request, and feature limits. Paid subscriptions are billed and processed through our payment processor, Polar.sh, which acts as merchant of record. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing, through the Polar customer portal. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.
8. API Usage & Rate Limits
Each plan has an associated monthly request quota, per-minute rate limit, and row cap, as described on our pricing page. You are responsible for keeping any API keys you generate confidential; you are responsible for all activity performed using your API keys. We may throttle or reject requests that exceed your plan's limits.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Security. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or fail to pay applicable fees, with notice where practicable.
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PasteSheet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
